Your new role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing robust Python-based applications and services, primarily using FastAPI, in alignment with the global R&D roadmap. Following software development best practices, they will implement efficient ETL pipelines, automation workflows, and apply state-of-the-art techniques in Generative AI across text, images, and video. They will collaborate with the R&D team, data scientists, and software engineers to develop innovative AI-driven products. This position reports to the R&D Team Lead.

What you'll be working on:

• Develop robust Python-based applications and services, primarily using FastAPI.
• Implement efficient ETL pipelines and automation workflows using tools such as Airflow and Argo Workflows.
• Research and apply state-of-the-art techniques in Generative AI (text, images, video).
• Conduct exploratory analysis using advanced web scraping methods (Playwright).
• Package, deploy, and distribute Python libraries effectively using tools such as Poetry and uv.
• Build interactive data-driven applications and prototypes using Streamlit.
• Work in an agile and flexible environment, delivering high-quality outputs on time.
• Stay up-to-date with industry standards and technological advancements in AI and automation.
• Collaborate with internal team members (SEO, Conversion, Data Scientists) on best practices, prioritization, and integration of AI-driven products.

What you will be bringing to your new role:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field, or proven equivalent experience in a technical organization.
• 3–5 years of experience in relevant positions.
• Proficiency in Python and strong knowledge of software engineering principles.
• Experience with FastAPI for developing scalable APIs and services.
• Expertise in ETL tools such as Airflow and workflow automation frameworks like Argo Workflows.
• Experience working with Generative AI frameworks and tools for text, image, and video processing.
• Strong knowledge of web scraping techniques, particularly using Playwright.
• Experience with packaging and distributing Python libraries (Poetry, uv, or similar tools).
• Familiarity with interactive data visualization and prototyping tools such as Streamlit.
• Ability to navigate uncertainty and rapidly changing project scopes.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Strong consideration will be given to candidates who also offer the following:

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Knowledge of SQL databases and data storage solutions.
• Familiarity with Agile project management tools such as Jira.
• Experience with MLOps practices, including model deployment and monitoring.
• Strong understanding of version control best practices (Git).
