Your new role:

The Content Specialist must be a subject-matter expert, with experience writing and developing digital content for the web. This person must have a keen understanding of SEO and other forms of content marketing to drive engagement with an industry-leading affiliate website portfolio. As a key cog in Medida’s content team, you will be responsible for ensuring pages and posts rank for targeted keywords, and to attract and engage customers and drive consumer actions.

What you'll be working on:

Delivery

• Collaborate with various teams to produce new content on your portfolio;
• Follow best practices to craft the best possible SEO pages for websites in collaboration with other departments;
• Be responsible for all written content in your portfolio;
• Complete competitive analysis on an ongoing basis;

Quality control

• Execute the delivery process and oversee quality control for all creative content materials to ensure creative intention and clearances are adhered to and maintained and accurate;

Oversight and management

• Produce Competitive Analysis;
• Collaborate with SEO and Product Team to ensure strategy and OKR’s are met;
• Update, optimise, and audit all content to meet content quality guidelines;
• Excel in knowledge and insight sharing on properties within your portfolio as well as insights.

What you will be bringing to your new role:

• Bachelor’s degree or proven experience directly in the field;
• 3+ years of experience in content creation or copywriting;
• Proficient in English and German;
• Previous experience in an SEO-related role, understanding principles of creating content for maximizing SEO;
• Previous experience working in online marketing;
• Proven experience with professional writing; proper grammar and spelling is a must;
• Comfortable using Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Express, XD, Rush;
• Ability to create engaging quality content within fair deadlines;

Strong consideration will be given to candidates who also offer the following:

• Understand the concept of “User Intent” and how to satisfy it in the digital space;
• Experience with tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console and SEMrush;
• Ability to learn quickly, comfortable working in fast-paced environments;
• An affinity for Digital Marketing, gaming industry & creative content;
• Experience with WordPress CMS;
